Quick Tip: Identify A Clear Job Goal

Before you sit down to write your resume, it is important to identify a clear goal. Don’t try to use a “general” resume to send out to several employers. Each resume should be relevant to what the employer is looking for in a new employee.

For example, if you are applying for a data entry position, don’t list your server job you had back in 1989.
